Greetings, I’m skoav, better known as Kechia (keɪʃæ). I’m from the furthest western reaches of Cheshire, England, and I’ve been knocking about since January 11th 1996. That makes me a Capricorn and a Boar, and my element Earth, and my planet Saturn. Yes, I love that sort of stuff. I’m part Italian, which I tend to boast about.

I love Sciences, even if I struggle to understand some of them, I find learning how things work and why things happen satisfying. Enceladus is by far the best thing in our solar system. Alchemical symbols are fucking brilliant. I’m possibly the laziest person you will ever meet. Mint frappe milkshakes from Caffe Nero are the best drink in existence. Trains are my preferred mode of transport, although I generally detest public transport as a whole. I consider myself centre-left, though it’s safe to say I understand very little about politics.

I’ve been playing the drums since 2007, but I’m still shit. I also play tamborin/surdo in my school’s samba band. My MBTI type is supposedly ISFP. I want to go to the University of Edinburgh and go on to become a Biomedical Scientist, but seeing as I can’t even think of a third A-level to take, it’s probably going to be a fair bit of work. I’d really love to become a Pathologist, but with being so squeamish, I’d probably never make it through a medical course. I doubt I’d even get a place on a medical course in the first place, anyway.

Despite being squeamish, I’m quite morbid. Darren Shan and J.K. Rowling are my favourite authors. I’ve developed a strong dislike for Thomas Hardy over the past year. I don’t read proper books as much as I used too, I’ve become too engrossed in Homestuck and manga, including Fruits Basket, Vampire Knight, Ouran High School Host Club, K-ON!, Pandora Heats, Hetalia, Black Butler and Spice and Wolf.

I’ve recently begun delving into cosplaying, but I’m lacking in time to dedicate to it. Generally the only films I like are either comedies , horrors, fantasies or just plain odd.

I take Business Studies, which has resulted in me developing an interest in the inner workings of the economy. Over the past year I’ve also taken a liking to Mathematics. Apparently my IQ is somewhere around 130, but I don’t trust internet tests.

I’m a orange belt in Ju-Jitsu. I have a strong dislike for America, the South and Manchester. And pushy Theists. Technically, I have no idea what my religion is, but I consider myself an Animist. I was christened a Roman Catholic, although I most definitely am not one. I was not confirmed, and more to the point I do not share the same beliefs as Roman Catholics, nor do I follow the teachings of the bible.

Arguments over whether we live in Cheshire or Wirral are frequent in my house. There’s a sign up the road saying “Welcome to Cheshire”, we live in fucking Cheshire. Although it’s technically Wirral too, Wirral is just the peninsula, not a county, so the entire argument is invalid. We persist anyway. 

Pepsi is better than Coca Cola, and that is none other than fact.

Some musicians I like include Blitz Kids, Frank Turner, Enter Shikari, Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic, Kids in Glass Houses, The Wombats and Tiger Please. I like Scotland. The only T.V. shows I watch regularly anymore are Doctor Who and Criminal Minds. I enjoy Matthew Gray Gubler.
